The route

The pack Thanks for visiting.  Many other thanks are in order:

Big thanks to Mom for the United Airlines connection and the inspiration to travel;

to Kurt, Peter, and Rogue for the time off to make it happen;

to Max for the killer Burton pack out of which I lived;

to Dick, Karen, Bryant, and Natalie for sending me off properly on the pig hunt;

to Guy for the swank London flat, and to Guy, Jim, and Alistair for a great dinner;

to the Saers for an outstanding visit in Wales;

to Candice's friend, John Miller, for the Indian travel tips;

to Sodhi for excellent (exciting) driving and guiding in India;

to Catharine and Mom for the Hong Kong travel tips;

to Andy from Wales, Ben from New Zealand, and the gal from Germany for their company in Hong Kong;

to the teacher and the girl I never talked to for smiling in Rick's Cafe;

to Susan for serious fun in San Fran;

to Dad, Mom, Steve, and Julie for a great weekend in Sausalito to wrap it all up;

and to Grandma and Grandpa Royal for inspiring me to think I can keep doing this stuff when I'm a Grandpa, too.

The pocket travel guides I used (and quoted from) were: Lonely Planet Publications. Delhi  (c) 1996  & Hong Kong (c) 1998.

The dancing rats image is not mine.  It came from Sara's jar of gourmet cheese wiz from the El Paso Chile Company.  And I can't really claim the image of Grandpa's Jamboree patch on the same page as the rats.  These images didn't have any copyright notices that I could see.

All the rest of the images and text (not the 3 logos above, smarty) on this site came from me: Copyright 1999.

So, what did ya think?  Any comments for me?
